Second Blog Upgrade

Hi and Assalamualaikum,

I promised to update another post when I am going to edit the blog. If you are new here please refer to my last post called Steps on how to create a successful blogger blog

My university life is restarting after a one week mid break. I just finished my EAW exam this evening and will have my EOP exam tomorrow. Also trying really hard to finish my FYP project. So in short, you can conclude I am really busy right now.

Busy = Short Post 

For now, the blog is running perfectly fine. I think I received a new visitor from the Middle East who came to this blog using Google's Egyptian search engine.

Anyway thanks for becoming my first visitor ( Jumping with joy)

 

Its always nice to be remembered that you are not alone in this world.

Just incase you are astonished on how a new blog is already indexed in Google and getting visitors, all you have to do is to put a link of your blog at a place where you know there is a Google spider.



In my case, I just placed a link at my already established blog. wink2.. So the Google spider goes to your link and starts indexing everything in your blog. Well, as long as you allow it of course. If you are a private person, you can simply deny all spider and bots by changing the setting in your Blogger admin interface.

Anyway as I mentioned around 10 minutes ago, (haha..) this should be a short post and I just want to update what I did to the blog.


UPDATE

a) Change the favicon, the favicon is the small identity of your that are displayed besides your URL at the browser.

It has a nice effect of representing what your blog is about. If I were to maintain the default Blogger Google Blogspot favicon,

I will become a normal entity whereby I want this blog to represent what I am. So I went in search of some ready made favicon. If you are hardworking you can create your own one. For now I am just going to take a ready made favicon. I like blue and my blog starts with an A (Afif) so I chose this one

How do I do it?
1) Go to the website www.favicon.cc
2) Download your favorite favicon.
3) Add this snippet at your Layout >> Edit Favicon >> Upload

b) I changed the posts so that it will become an excerpt at the Main Page. Just simply add a READ MORE link for those who want to simply read more by adding the Insert Jump break when posting.

c) I also tested a shoutbox SBOX application just for the sake of interactive communication. I used Sbox.ws which is free compared to Shoutmix. Will customize the colors later, now its basically looks like a panda SBOX. haha UPDATE - removed it for now
